Efua Uiterwijk

I joined Opus in 2025 as workshop designer and facilitator. I have had a squiggly route to this work with a background in outdoor and environmental education, operations management and sustainability consulting. The thread through all of this has been the question “what am I doing in service to the Earth, its ecosystems and societies?” 

Over the last several years working as a consultant supporting organisations with system and behaviour change for sustainability, I have been using participatory facilitation methods to co-create pathways to environmentally regenerative and socially equitable action. This has included using system change and participatory leadership principles from the Art of Hosting, a global community of practice around how to have, and bring broad participation into, conversations that matter.
