I started working with Opus on the Festival of Debate in 2024 as an Events Manager. Since then, I’ve continued to work on the festival, taking on responsibility for accessibility and inclusion, as well as contributing more broadly to other Opus events and the River Don Project.

My background and passion is in DIY culture, and I’ve spent my life ‘working’ in this field—historically for the love of it, and more recently as a paid practice. I also believe very strongly that organisations should be owned and run by their workers, which is something I love about Opus <3
